Last minute Puerto Rico wedding? It can be done!

Sometimes life moves faster than you planned and you might want to move up your wedding date or maybe the romance of the island of Puerto Rico just gave you the bug to hurry up and get married NOW!  Whatever the reason, we do help brides and grooms plan last minute weddings in Rincon PR quite frequently.  Although it may seem overwhelming, planning a last minute wedding is possible and simple with the help of a great Rincon wedding planner like All Events PR.

Some of the advantages of using a wedding planner include the fact that an established Puerto Rico wedding planner will have all of the contacts you need for a last minute wedding in Puerto Rico and will be able to coordinate all that you need with speed.  She will know which vendors are available on short notice and what shortcuts work best for a last minute wedding. Now, keep in mind, a last minute wedding in Rincon needs to be simple and small in order to be successful.

Recently we helped Ed and Stephanie get married in Rincon Puerto Rico in January 2012 – and planned the wedding in just FOUR days!  Whew! It was a whirlwind, but they were super happy with the results and we were proud to say that we made their Puerto Rico wedding dreams come true.  We did a small beach ceremony down at our favorite spot on the beach at Domes and included some ceremony touches that worked nicely with the beach location.   Ed and Stephanie kept it small, down to just the two of them and their children.  We followed the beach ceremony with a romantic dinner at Casa Islena Tapas Bar and had a custom small wedding cake made for the occasion.

Also keep in mind that getting your official marriage certificate in Puerto Rico is an affair that takes about a week to complete.  If you are going to have a quickie wedding or a normal wedding in Puerto Rico, you need to arrive at least a week in advance to complete all of the steps to have your marriage recognized in Puerto Rico.  For a last minute wedding, we suggest getting your official paperwork done in the states and then bringing the lisence to be signed by your officiant here – that is the easiest way to do it in a rush.

Here is what Ed and Stephanie had to say about All Events Puerto Rico wedding coordinators and their help with this last minute affair:

“I want to write this testimonial in recognition of the help we received from Sarah Rosario of “All Events” for our wedding in Rincon, Puerto Rico. We decided to get married in Rincon as we had all our grown children on vacation with us. With very short notice we contacted Sarah and she took care of all the arrangements of the event. She walked us through all the details of a wedding, with options and creativity, including things we had not thought of. We could not have done it without her. We found Sarah, honest, straight forward and hard working. My wife in particular liked the fact that she was decisive and a problem solver. When small problems arose (e.g. a missing boutonnière), she took charge and creatively solved the problem with a minimum of fuss. She took the pressure off our backs. It was clear from her attitude that her biggest interest was making our wedding a special event. She succeeded in spades and we will have a beautiful memory of our Rincon wedding. Sarah had a great part in that.’
